Founded in 1946 in Ampuis, Maison Guigal has embodied the excellence of Rhône valley wines for three generations now. The Vineyards

« Every day he went down to the cellars and you, as a boy, used to love following him with his pipette and glass in hand. He would slowly make a tour of the barrels and bottles looking at them lovingly; objects untainted by life’s troubles, by sadness, boredom and even by time itself. Your amazing grandfather smiled at all these bottles and you used to think, ‘how he loves his cellar!’ But no, my son, it was us he loved because this dear man knew that he himself would never drink these rare wines which were made to age over a long period of time. »
